White Label
A pre-formulated, ready-to-sell product that a supplier lets you sell under your own brand name and label design.
White label supplements are stock formulas the manufacturer already produces. You apply your own branding, label, and packaging on top of an existing product rather than developing a formula from scratch. This is typically the fastest and lowest-cost way to launch a supplement brand.
Because the formula is already established, white label programs often carry lower minimums (and sometimes true no-minimum options) compared to fully custom private-label manufacturing.
Example
A health coach selects a supplier's existing magnesium glycinate capsule formula and applies their own brand name and label artwork before selling it to clients.
Worth Knowing
White label and private label are often used interchangeably in casual conversation, but they describe different levels of customization. See the Private Label definition for the distinction.
